PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
8-week youth soccer program designed for development and fun at all skill levels.
AGES:
U5 - U12 (4 1/2 to 11 years old).
We follow the US Youth Soccer Player Development guidelines and run sessions by birth year. This helps to ensure fair play and an enjoyable playing environment. Due to registration numbers, some age groups will practice & play together but coaches remain focused on ensuring a fun & safe environment for all players regardless of size or age.
** 2018/2019 birth years: The program for our youngest members is available as a 1 day/week program offered on Saturdays only. Based upon US Youth Soccer guidelines one day/week is the recommended amount of soccer training for these young age groups.

We offer 1 day/week (Saturdays only) and 2 days/week (choose one of 2 weekday options and Saturday).
1 day/week $200 ($145 for 2018 & 2019 birth years)

PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE INFORMATION:
Please register based upon desired program days, birth year and gender. Sessions are scheduled based on number of players that register per each age & gender group. Reminder that all sessions are 1-hour long.
WAITLISTS:
Any registrations received after sessions have filled will be placed on our waitlist. You will be notified via email if you get accepted into the program. You will not be charged until you are moved off the waitlist.
UNIFORM KIT:
All Legacy Development program participants are provided with a game jersey at the start of the program. Shorts and soccer socks are not provided, and players can wear any comfortable clothing. Soccer socks & shin guards are required. Sneakers or soccer cleats are fine. Although soccer cleats are not required, they are the only type of cleats permitted.
PRACTICE/GAME READINESS:
Players: Dress in comfortable clothing as denoted above. All players must bring their own soccer ball and a drink to each session. Goals, cones, nets, etc. are provided.
Parents: Outdoor folding chairs, blankets, etc. are allowed. Parents may encourage all players, but please refrain from "coaching" your child from the sidelines.
SOCCER BALL SIZE:
Ages 4-7 Size 3 (Junior)
Ages 8-12 Size 4 (Youth)
Ages 13+ Size 5 (Adult)
TEAMSNAP INFORMATION:
We use the TeamSnap App to facilitate communications, scheduling, player attendance, etc. Information on how to subscribe to the free App and your child's TeamSnap page will be emailed to you prior to the season. (Be on the lookout for this information, it can sometimes get lost in your Spam folder.)
SCHEDULE UPDATES / WEATHER CANCELLATIONS:
Any schedule updates and/or cancellations will be communicated through TeamSnap, and we will send out an email/alert to all registered players. Please be aware that we can and do practice and play in the rain if it isn't too heavy. We actively monitor weather and field conditions to ensure player safety. Always assume that sessions are proceeding as scheduled unless a cancellation is explicitly communicated. Please reference TeamSnap for any schedule changes.
COACHING:
All sessions are run by Legacy Development Program Director Mark Dutton and Legacy staff coaches.
WEEKDAY vs SATURDAY OVERVIEW:
Weekday sessions are designed as practice days for players to work on individual skills, technique, footwork, ball handling, scoring, etc. Saturday sessions are designed for players to apply learned skills within a game-like situation.
