FC Berna General Fund

FC Berna is a non-profit 501(c)(3) company, originally incorporated in 1974 as Somerset Hills Soccer Club and later renamed in 2014 to FC Berna Inc following the merger between Somerset Hills Soccer Club and the Ridge Mavericks Soccer Club. 

Volunteers have and continue to be the backbone of our community based youth soccer club (board members, team managers, tournament and event coordination, tryout check-in, special events, etc.). We are so thankful for those that donate literally hundreds of hours a season to our club, staff and players.

While the vast majority of our club costs are covered by our various program fees, we do have at times costs that exceed those fees.

For those that can, we ask you to please consider contributing to our FC Berna General Fund. Donations are collected during program registration, special events, or by contacting our club president via [email protected].

Donations to the FC Berna General Fund go to the following items:

Financial Aid: assists those families that need assistance to pay for them to play soccer.
Purchase of Club Equipment: soccer goals, nets, balls, cones, storage units, office supplies, etc.
Philanthropy Activities: assist with Berna Cares costs
Community Engagement: donations of supplies, free soccer clinic to pre-schoolers, neighborhood schools, etc.
Other Club Costs: as needed club-wide assistance (such as COVID-19 related costs)
